Announcements 4/1/07 - Division D Contest flyer is floating around. Please make sure you pre-register so your name is added to the security list. 1/17/07 - Announcing Talk Up Toastmasters. See the flyer for more information. Your club can earn a special award for signing up five new members between 2/1/07 and 3/31/07. 1/12/07 - Wake Up! We're heading into the busy season of Toastmasters: contests, dues, officer training, etc. Last night Division D hosted our first of four Officer Trainings with a large group of club officers in attendance. Congratulations to the Reston-Herndon Club and the Ashburn Club; they are the first clubs to earn DCP credit for officers trained in both the summer and winter. 1/11/07 - Congratulations & Thank you to Joe Short, CTM/CL who has accepted the nomination to be Lt. Governor of Marketing for Division D. He'll be working with all you VPMs and VPPRs to grow membership in all of our clubs. 12/14/06 - Congratulations & Thank you to Debbie Leben, CTM/CL who has accepted the nomination to be Lt. Governor of Education for Division D. She'll be working closely with all you VPEs and the AGs to help members achieve their CC or AC this year. 11/20/06 - The contest season has passed with some great times had by all at Division D's contest on 10/20/06 and the District Conference on 11/11/06. Please make sure your clubs are focused on hosting an International Speech Contest in February 2007 for your members. 9/27/06 - Congratulations to Area 43 for being the first area to have dues paid for all clubs. Thanks especially go to the Treasurers of TASC, Old Dominion, Westfields, Get the Edge, and Cox Communicators! 9/23/06 - Congratulations to Area 44 Contest Winners: Dave Ross (Leesburg) won the Table Topics Contest and Jim (Loudoun) won the Humorous Speech Contest. 9/22/06 - Dues are due to Toastmasters International by month's end. Let's make sure our members are in good standing by having the dues up-to-date. Paying online is the quickest route. 9/16/06 - Congratulations to Area 42 Contest Winners: Dee-Dee Taylor (Tech Tower) won the Table Topics Contest and Kippton Gray won the Humorous Speech Contest. 9/1/06 - Congratulations Officers!!! Division D had 100% of our clubs meet the goal of having officers trained in the summer. Let's repeat this in the winter and stay trained for our members. 7/23/06 - District 27 held a Steering Committee meeting today. Read the Division D report. 7/20/06 - Thank you to Wayne Burnley of Tongue Tied for hosting two days of officer training and providing lunch for us all! 7/20/06 - Congratulations to Ashburn Toastmasters! As of today, all seven club officers have been trained and they qualify for the Golden Toasters Award. 7/17/06 - Big "Thank You!" to all four Area Governors in Division D for getting trained. 7/15/06 - Congratulations!! Cascades Communicators is the first club to have all seven officers trained! 7/12/06 - Weekday Officer Training Announced for Division D on August 3rd. Dinner served! 7/10/06 - Weekday Officer Training Announced for Division D on July 19 & 20. Lunch served! 7/1/06 - Congratulations!! The following clubs have attained the DCP goal for getting at least four officers trained in the summer: Ashburn, Cascades, Leesburg, Reston-Herndon, and Tech Tower. 6/26/06 - Congratulations!! All Division D clubs have submitted officer lists to TI HQ.. |
